Luis Orduña Ridruejo

Born in Pamplona (Navarre) in 1980, he began his career studding music in Luis Morondo, Pablo Sarasate and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya Conservatories achieving several prizes and honourable mentions on graduation.

He has worked with Oystein Baadsvik (International tuba solist), Patrick Harrild (tuba solist in the London Symphony Orchestra and teacher in Guildhall School of Music & Drama), Mel Culbertson (Tuba player), Roger Bobo (Los Ángeles Philarmonic Orchestra´s Tuba Player), Miguel Navarro (Orquesta Nacional de España´s Tuba Player), Miguel Moreno, Sergio Finca, Pedro Castaño, Jon Sass, Christian Lindberg, Stephane Loyer, Armin Rosin Ricardo Casero etc.

He has played in Orquesta Pablo Sarasate, La Pamplonesa, Joven Orquesta de Euskadi-Euskal Herriko Gazte Orkestra (E.G.O) and Joven Orquesta Nacional de España (Jonde).

Currently he is permanent player of the Banda Municipal de Música de Vitoria-Gasteiz, he is music teacher and he is the permanent conductor of the HAIZE BERRIAK Band.
